What that produces is below: on the enterprise project in consumer goods I have been the same point of contact since January 2019 — across two platform changes and across the move from employee to freelancer.
I do not have an agency's bench. So I work inside your repository as a rule, record architecture decisions in writing and back the work with CI and automated tests, so someone else can take over. Eight store views across five countries and three languages, continuously since January 2019. Joined as a senior developer through an agency, freelance since 2022, and since 2025 full-stack architect and lead with technical responsibility for two developers.
- Replatforming from Magento 1 to Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure, headless, while international sales kept running
- Later move of the front end to Hyvä Commerce; owned the Hyvä checkout
- Checkout, payment and tax logic across countries and tax jurisdictions: Adyen, RatePay, Avalara
- Surrounding systems connected: SAP as ERP, eggheads as PIM, Signifyd, Klaviyo; search on Smile Elasticsuite

Outcome: stable international operation across seven years and two platform changes, with the same point of contact throughout. I do not have dependable before-and-after figures for this project — which is why none are quoted here.
Its counterpart is public and named: gastrostars.shop, a B2B wholesaler for catering equipment, moved from Shopify to Magento Open Source with Hyvä — delivered end to end from concept to go-live.

Paid audit
I go through code, configuration, integrations and infrastructure and deliver a written findings report with priorities. The report is yours — including if you continue with someone else afterwards.

Fixed price for the delivery
Based on the audit, a quote with a fixed price instead of an hourly meter. You know what the delivery costs before it starts.
The Adobe licence runs past all of this: you buy it directly from Adobe. I do not resell licences and earn nothing on yours — from me you are billed for consulting and delivery only.

Who does the work — you, or a team I never meet?

Those are two separate invoices. You buy the Adobe Commerce licence directly from Adobe; I do not resell licences and earn nothing on yours. From me you are billed for consulting and delivery only. If Magento Open Source is enough for your case, I will say so — for gastrostars.shop that was exactly the right call.
Are you Adobe certified?
I was: Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Commerce Developer (2022–2024) and Adobe Commerce Cloud Developer (2021–2023), both expired and not renewed. The badges are visible on Credly, expiry date included.
Do you also work on Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure?
Yes — it has been my daily work since January 2019: deployment pipelines, Fastly configuration and running an international multi-store installation. Adobe calls the product Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure today; the older label Adobe Commerce Cloud is still common in the market. They mean the same thing.
How is responsibility for running the store split?
On the cloud infrastructure Adobe operates the platform and provides Fastly as the CDN. Configuration, deployment pipelines, caching rules, code and integrations sit on your side — that is the part I take on. A self-hosted installation adds the server layer; in that case we agree up front who owns it.
Can you migrate from Magento 1 or Magento Open Source to Adobe Commerce?
Yes. On the reference project on this page I worked through the replatforming from Magento 1 to Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure while international sales kept running, and later the move of the front end to Hyvä Commerce. It works the other way round too: for gastrostars.shop I moved the store from Shopify to Magento Open Source.
